Hitting the reset button

It’s great to know that wilderness is only a bus ride away. Okay, so it’s not complete desolation and a combination of three transit systems are required but this weekend was a reminder of how diverse the Bay Area is. Point Reyes offers some really incredible camping within 40 miles of the city.

There’s something so refreshing about stripping away ones options until the only things of consequence are exploring, eating and sleeping. Trail conditions ranged from open prairie to rain forest to rugged coastline. Food never tasted so good and not a single electronic device for miles.

Radical! Another hiking spot accessible by public transit=Angel Island. It would be so cool to plan a camping trip out there! Keep blogging dude.
