Product and brand designer at June. Previously at Facebook and Hot Studio.
My work combines a background in graphic design with technology and user-centered design thinking. I currently work at June Life, a modern appliance company dedicated to bringing intelligence to the tools you use in the kitchen. Joining June soon after they founded presented the opportunity to work on all aspects of visual design including, branding, packaging, user interface, and marketing.
I received a BFA in Graphic Design with a minor in photography from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2006. I was fortunate to study under seasoned industry professionals that gave me a strong foundation in typography, layout, and color theory. They emphasized design thinking, work ethic, and the importance of sketching early in the process.
Kendall College granted me a merit scholarship and during my time there I was named to the President’s List four years in a row. In addition to the core studies of graphic design, I focused on flash and web technologies, receiving a Silver Addy regional award for my digital portfolio.
While I no longer own a darkroom, I still like to get the camera out. Capturing landscapes combines photography with another love, travel and being out in nature.
